Some how I missed the whole month of February! Fear not; I still did some creating. As many of you know I am a tax preparer and bookkeeper so I am just a little busy.
I made this caterpillar bracelet for a friend's birthday in January.
I have a great friend who owns a bead store in town and she went out of town at the beginning of the month so I got to work in her fun store. I love working in the store because it throws me in to the world of creativity. I also get to take her classes. At the beginning of the month I took the Beyond Basics. It was a cool class! I learned how to use jewelry cones, tying those sliding knots on leather necklaces and much much more.
I also took a beaded watch band class, and I am addicted. I plan to make lots of these.
Take a look here.
At the end of the month I got to work at the bead store again. I made a few pair of earringa, a cool necklace and earrings. I did some vacuuming and heard just a ton of beads being vacuumed. So I investigated. The beads I could identify I put back in their dishes, those I could not find a home for became this necklace. I added a few of my own beads. I love this necklace as it goes with everything and it is so easy to make.
I did get a little sewing in, I have a block of the month so I completed my first block of the quilt. and here is the fabric for this month. My small group worked on a small purse. I have to finish it then I will post, but this month we are working on a small watercolor quilts. It inspired me to get my UFO watercolor quilt top out and work on it.
